Naomi Scott – Research Associate, School of humanities

Naomi really champions me to think about the world we live in beyond just our ancient studies and recontextualises everything we learn in such an interesting way that gets me excited to learn with her.

Every single person is given the opportunity in each class to contribute their translation and discuss their ideas about the text and she really supports you and hypes you to bring your own points.

The way she is able to relate ancient ideas to the modern world help us all to reconsider the way our world works, and where we (as a society) can learn from past mistakes.
