Juan creates a research environment that is both intellectually demanding and deeply supportive. What I value most is that she makes supervision feel safe enough for me to think openly, while also challenging me in ways that genuinely sharpen my work.
Through her mentorship, I have learned that academic community is not just something one is admitted into; it is also something one learns to participate in, contribute to, and help shape.
