Calling all potential Student Fellows!
There is only one week left to apply for one of our Student Fellow positions, starting on 30th September 2026! There are five positions available, and any student enrolled between September 2026 – July 2027 is welcome to apply.

Test our course for a £20 Love2Shop eGiftCard
We’re looking for staff and students to test a ‘Decolonising Education’ resource we are currently developing, which is largely based on the FutureLearn ‘Decolonising Education: From Theory to Practice’ course.
If you have 30 minutes to spare and would like to provide some feedback to us during the week of 13th July in exchange for a £20 Love2Shop gift card, please email us at bilt-info@bristol.ac.uk.
We will send you a link to the course on the 13th July and feedback would need to be provided by 17th July 2026.
TQEC Try it out sessions available to book from September
As part of BILT’s ongoing programme of training/familiarisation events to support colleagues transitioning to teach at TQEC, we’re pleased to announce a series of ‘Try it out’ sessions at the newly named Bill Brown Forum (Lecture theatre in-the-round) at Temple Quarter.
There are 4 sessions in September and 2 in January. Places are limited to 10 people per session, so sign-up quickly.

BILT Annual Conference 2026: Student-Centred, By Design
1 July @ 9.00 am – 5.00 pm, The Victoria Rooms
The Student-Centred By Design conference examines how higher education can more meaningfully recognise and empower students as active partners in learning. Join us for a day of workshops, presentations, keynotes, posters and stalls. Lunch is provided for delegates who register for the full day.
