My supervisors have been instrumental in my development as an independent researcher, helping me balance intellectual openness and direction. They allow space for exploration to nurture curiosity, while they ensure that ideas remain focused and feasible and turn into well-defined research questions.

They are genuinely curious and authentic, and while they push back on weak points in my research, they stay warm as people and have often helped me maintain enthusiasm towards my own research when mine was withering.
