BILT Briefing Issue 113: Christmas Special

We’ve created a special edition of the Briefing this week, with a few Christmas treats included to set you up for the holidays!

Our PVC-Education and Students, Prof. Tansy Jessop, has recently released a new book, ‘Student Agency and Engagement’, looking at themes including programmatic assessment, alienation, engagement and student agency. Order your copy here.

Pre-order James Norman’s book on Regenerative Design, ‘The Regenerative Structural Engineer’ and complete the story we’ve been following for the past two years! Although primarily written for engineers, this book is a ‘creative call for radical change’ and encourages readers to rethink their approaches to create a better future.

There’s no getting away from the fact that AI is here to stay and so it’s essential we start to think about how we are going to live with it and its ethical implication in education. This book outlines the key debates around artificial intelligence and explores the ethical consequences of widespread embedding of AI across the education sector. Order your copy here.

This book is an accessible and practical guide on how to design modules so that each student is valued equally. It includes contributions from over 80 experts and is available as a hard copy or ebook.
