Staff get students involved in collecting data and shaping the school, e.g. students attend job interviews (teaching presentations) for hiring new teaching staff, and give their feedback.
While changing policy is not always possible due to university-wide policy, staff always try their best to sort out problem and get in touch with relevant people.
Advocate for better equality, e.g. making changes to field course accommodation to better facilitate non-binary students.
