Funding Operations Officer, Money Advice and Funding
Paul joined the University of Bristol in 2023, he is responsible for administering the University Hardship Fund (Financial Assistance Fund – FAF). Despite a massive surge in demand due to the cost of living crisis, applications are turned round in 2-3 days due to Paul’s reforms and improvements. This ensures that students who need funding are receiving it quickly and simply.
Paul’s role involves weekly communications with hundreds of students, which he does with compassion and skill, he liaises with a range of departments and individuals to provide seamless support to students.
