The MyWorld’s Skills and Training team are incredibly inspiring and innovative in the Skills and Training courses they have delivered. One of the barriers to growth and innovation within the creative industries sector is an increasing skills gap. Building on the creative production, technology and research strengths of the region, the MyWorld Skills and Training Team work collaboratively with industry to instill knowledge within their learners to understand and embrace technical advances.
Without a doubt inspired more curiosity than ever before the course had begun, let alone on the marvelous experience undergone once it had. An absolute unequivocal best learning experience of my life, cannot be understated that this is the sort of thing I would have spent the last three years doing had I been aware of such an option.
The team think very carefully not just about diverse and supportive recruitment strategies but also the diversifying of the curriculum to ensure the content of their courses is inclusive and reflects those from currently underrepresented backgrounds in teaching materials and guest speakers. They are also considerate in how they deliver their training, ensuring a collaborative approach with their learners. They create safe educational environments which support diverse needs and where diverse learners can thrive.
