We are looking for PGR participants who are willing to take part in interviews or complete a survey – interviews will take place between mid March and mid April and will last between 30 mins to an hour. The survey takes 5 minutes to fill out and can be accessed via this link. If you are interested in participating or would like to learn more, please email vitalie.duporge@bristol.ac.uk

Thank you for your BTA nominations!

Thank you to everyone for your nominations for this year’s Bristol Teaching Awards – a total of 1069 were made, beating our record of 1066 in 2023! We introduced a new form this year and were pleased that it encouraged lots of detail without putting anyone off from nominating. It was heart-warming to hear from students about the joy, passion and deep knowledge that staff had for their subjects, the care taken to make sure that course content was understood, and the effort made to make sure students felt valued and included.

We were really pleased to see high engagement from international students with many referencing how they felt welcomed and supported with the challenges they have faced. Technical and lab teams were also highly valued for helping to explain more complex topics through practical and applied learning.

You can find details of individual nominations on the Awards section of the University’s Thanks and Recognition wall. Congratulations to all our nominees!

Look out for the shortlist on Monday 13th May!
