Dr Christophe Fricker interviews Professor Hartmut Rosa, a professor of sociology at the University of Jena, working within the tradition of critical theory. He is known for his theory of acceleration. He’s the author of several books and essays, including Resonance: A Sociology of Our Relationship to the World (Polity, 2021), The Uncontrollability of the World (Polity, 2020) and Social Acceleration: A New Theory of Modernity (Columbia University Press 2015).
