Thomas provides a tremendous amount of support as a Dissertation supervisor. He is so passionate about his field of study and this passion is infectious. He has sparked curiosity in topics I knew little about and is very supportive with the writing process.
Thomas is always encouraging to us in our dissertation unit, not once have we left a lecture or event feeling more stressed out, as he is so reassuring and makes everyone on the course feel that we are doing an amazing job. his positive mindset about dissertations is reflected in all sociology third years.
He has made writing my dissertation such an amazing learning experience, and I have been able to really develop my ideas. Thomas’s encouragement and belief in my work and my writing has built my confidence so much, leading me to consider a future in academics, research and future study.
