Isabel Murillo Cabeza

Isabel is interested in playful learning, and has developed several game-based approaches to help microbiology students to digest course material in an accessible and fun way.

The MicrobEscape Room game centers around a fictional news article and letter from Public Health England, detailing the release of a pathogen into the Bristol area. This certainly brings learning to life by illustrating the impact of microbes on public health and the interdisciplinary approaches needed to address this.

She provides us with definitions of terms during lectures and at the end also leaves us with a glossary defining terms which aids in my revision and it also helps during lectures as some terms that are defined I have not come across before
