We’ve had a quieter couple of weeks since the Bristol Teaching Awards a couple of weeks ago. We’re in the final stages of putting together our BILT Conference on Wednesday 10 July (if you haven’t booked on, please make sure you do as we have only a few tickets left!) but have a couple of exciting things to share with you in this week’s Briefing.
Applications for 2024/25 Student Fellows are open!

The current BILT student fellows for 2023-24.
We’re excited to share that we are looking for 7 Student Fellows to join our team next year. The Student Fellow programme is going into its eighth year and has proven impact as a co-partnership initiative. If you know any students who would be interested in this role, please pass on the details – all of which can be found on this page.
Visit the Student Fellows webpage.
We welcome applications from students across all levels of study – our only stipulation is that they must be enrolled as a student between September 2024 – July 2025.
The deadline for applications is 14 July at midnight.
Thinking of applying to be an NTF in the future?
We are running a workshop on Wednesday 3 July 2024 for any colleagues who are thinking of applying to be National Teaching Fellows, or for a Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE), to find out more about the process and timelines, and an opportunity to mingle with successful NTFs.

Software engineering student projects
Does your team have a need for software or application development?
Every year, our Computer Science students tackle software-based projects for organisations looking for innovative solutions made possible by cutting-edge systems and applications.
From conceptualisation to implementation, they’ll bring fresh perspectives and valuable insights. By pitching your projects, you’ll be supporting the growth and development of the next generation of tech-savvy professionals.
We will be seeking project ideas until the start of September, if you have ideas submit them through our webpage, or get in touch with us at ilo-projects@bristol.ac.uk.
