Over the past four years, the team has been central to student wellbeing at TECS CDT, offering consistent, thoughtful support and managing complex welfare issues with care. They played a key role in helping students transition back to in-person learning after the pandemic and have successfully guided multiple cohorts through the sensitive process of PhD project selection without academic intervention, fostering a strong sense of community.
Their deep understanding of the student journey and institutional processes has been invaluable to leadership in addressing wellbeing matters. At a recent Independent Advisory Board meeting, the team was praised for their significant impact. Students shared overwhelmingly positive feedback, highlighting the team’s approachability, commitment, and the supportive environment they have cultivated.
