Louise Arnold

Lecturer, School of Anatomy

She is very good at showing a love for the veterinary profession and keeping the lectures realistic to what we will need to learn. This helps keep my perspective and remember what I’m actually there for, and inspired me to keep at it when I’m struggling because the long term goal of being a vet is there.

I really appreciate that she engages with us in so many ways (explaining, drawing, showing us in practical sessions, providing quizzes, highlighting ‘need to know’ info and ‘nice to know’ info) and repeating things as many times as we need!

When answering after class questions she explains things very deeply, not just surface level, and she’s very patient with it

Louise is keen to teach everyone and supports you when you need additional help, she is always very encouraging and down-to-earth with her delivery which makes me feel more comfortable especially in practical sessions! I appreciate that she asks us for feedback as well. You can tell that she really cares about teaching us!
