Lecturer, School of Psychological Science
From day one she provided unwavering support and kindness regarding my additional needs, and throughout the year continued to support me both on a surface level and from behind the scenes.
Alyssa has taken the feedback of able bodied students, students with additional needs, and disabled/chronically ill students…She works hard to ensure that the learning environment she provides is suitable for all types of people and has taken constructive feedback into account in order to improve the units that she teaches and the support she provides.
Alyssa has not only listened to our feedback, she has also actively enquired about our thoughts and ideas for future improvements. She has included me, and other students, in the process of improving the experimental hours scheme, ensuring that our voices will be heard.
