Description
This session is an opportunity to get a head start on preparing your 26/27 Blackboard unit courses, which will be released in early June. You’ll be able to see examples of well-designed unit courses from across the institution and review your course against the Baseline Course Standards – a set of effective practices in Blackboard course design co-created with students and staff at the University of Bristol.

11:00 – 11:15: Break with tea, coffee and biscuits
11:15 – 12:15: Effective practices workshop
12:15 – 12:30: Wrap-up and questions
Intended Learning Outcomes
- Use practical examples to explain the Baseline Course Standards for course design.
- Evaluate your unit course against the standards and make enhancements where needed.
- Share effective practices in course design with colleagues.
- Identify and apply ‘beyond the baseline’ practices to further enhance your unit course.
