Show, Tell and Talk: Designing for all – inclusive assessment

This session will explore and discuss how to embed inclusive assessment across a programme, with more details to follow.
This 90 minute in-person workshop takes place in Room 1.20, Helen Wodehouse Building, 35 Berkeley Square and will give a brief overview of our BILT-funded research projects which are focused on researching the student experience of assessment in terms of inclusivity, culminating in a report along with the production of academic guidance.
Timetable:
12.45 pm – Arrival – tea, coffee and biscuits served
1 pm – Intro from Chair – Mark Allinson/Ros O’Leary
1.05 – 1.15 pm – 10 min presentation from the Associate Project, including an overview of student diversity at the University and current trends
1.15 – 1.45 pm – 5 min presentations in turn from each Educational Development Project.
1.45 – 2.30 pm – Panel Q&A with all contributors. Response from Chair bringing threads together; response from Student panel member followed by questions from the floor.
